How To Get Anarchy | Destiny 2
Holding an Exotic Grenade Launcher in your hands literally feels like holding the lives of your enemies. The sheer destruction and damage that this weapon is able to deal is no doubt a sight to witness. Well, that is what it feels like when you hold The Exotic Anarchy Grenade Launcher in Destiny 2.
One of the known favorable grenade launchers is The Mountaintop due to its unique lightweight composition as well as perks. However, Anarchy has its own way of destroying. Despite being a heavier weapon, it makes up for it by its attacks. So, no doubt that you want this weapon for yourself, or at least try it out.

This weapon is an absolute beast that allows you to deal massive damage per second to bosses in Destiny 2. It is arguably the best PvE weapon in Destiny 2, without a doubt. Anarchy d2 was introduced in Scourge of the Past raid as a raid weapon but with an extremely low drop rate. This was very frustrating for a lot of players as only a select few got their hands on it.

How To Get Anarchy After Beyond Light Update
It is not that difficult to get your hands on Anarchy nowadays. Back when the Anarchy was only available with “Scourge of the Past,” the raid was a tough time. However, now you can simply get the Exotic Grenade Launcher from the Exotic Kiosk in the Tower right next to the Monument to Lost Lights. If you want exotic weapons in Destiny 2, refer to our Destiny 2 Exotic Weapon And Armours List article.
In order to purchase it, you will need certain resources and currencies. These are:
- 1 Exotic Cipher
- 2 Ascendant Shards
- 240 Spoils of Conquest
- 150,000 Glimmer
An Exotic Cipher can be retrieved from the Season Pass or by completing the quest from Xur, who’s available from Friday to Tuesday.
Glimmer as well can be farmed pretty easily by doing strikes, gambit, public events, patrols, the crucible, etc. You could also trade different items for Glimmer from Spider; however, avoid trading in Dusklight Shards as they are needed for Anarchy.
Banshee-44 in the Tower will be able to sell you the Ascendant Shards, or you can find them in high-level nightfalls from the final chest as random drops.
Now, with Beyond Light comes to a brand new currency called Spoils of Conquest. This currency can only be earned through raids, so it is going to need some effort.
How To Get Spoils Of Conquest For Anarchy
As mentioned before, raids are the only way to get Spoils of Conquest. So get ready to farm after we have briefed you on the raids. You should take note that there are 2 ways to get these in raids. One through Raid chests and the other from simply Raid encounters.
Keep in mind that you need DLCs like the “Forsaken for Last Wish,” “Shadowkeep for Garden of Salvation,” and “Beyond Light for Deep Stone Crypt” to access the raids. Now, once this is cleared. There are a few raids in Destiny 2 at the moment:
- The Last Wish (Dreaming City)
- Garden of Salvation (Moon)
- Deep Stone Crypt (Europa)
- Vault of Glass (Legends)
Encountering these raids will give around 3 to 5 Spoils per encounter. Therefore, you might have to grind raiding for a bit to get 240 Spoils of Conquest for Anarchy d2.
However, keep in mind that there are secret chests spread out in these raids that can offer 10 Spoils of Conquest per chest. Therefore keep an eye for these chests to get the maximum out of each encounter.
One popular way to farm Spoils is to do the Templar encounter again and again by stopping it from teleporting, dealing damage, and swapping the checkpoint with fireteam members. This way, the raid can be run multiple times over a week.
Another personal suggestion would be to repeat the Crypt Security encounter of the Deep Stone Crypt raid as it can be cleared quite easily and fast with a little bit of practice.
How To Farm Anarchy
At the moment, the loot limit for vaulted raids has been lifted. Therefore these raids can be run as many times as possible, and you will be able to get loot every time you encounter them. Additionally, there are also secret chests that offer more loot.
Through repetitive raiding, you will be able to get 240 Spoils of Conquest which is one of the requirements to purchase Anarchy Destiny 2.
After all the materials have been collected, including 240 Spoils, you can simply head to the Monuments to Lost Lights in the Tower and Purchase The Exotic Anarchy Grenade Launcher.
