There are a ton of builds for you to think about. We will walk you through some of the most potent fallout 4 heavy weapons build.

When you start the game, you receive 21 points that you can allocate to your character as you please. Every value you allocate to these stats ultimately adjusts the personality and shapes the overall characteristics of your character.
If you’re looking to have the Fallout 4 heavy weapon build in the game, you will need to have accumulated certain S.P.E.C.I.A.L stat numbers for the build to work. If your stats are lower than the recommended amount, you will not make the most out of the Fallout 4 heavy weapons build.
To make it simpler for you to understand, here are the Recommended S.P.E.C.I.A.L Stats.
- Strength: > 3 Points
- Perception: > 7 Points
- Endurance: > 8 Points
- Charsima: > 1 Point
- Intelligence: > 1 Point
- Agility: > 7 Points
- Luck: > 1 Point
These recommended S.P.E.C.I.A.L stats emphasize your HP primarily and improve your overall resistance to the numerous dangers in the wasteland.
The Best Fallout 4 Heavy Weapon Build
As we mentioned earlier, Fallout has a plethora of heavy weapons build for players to choose from. You can choose from amongst the most exotic weapons in the game. You can either pick these weapons during normal gameplay or choose to have your own Fallout heavy weapon built in the game.
Additionally, you can opt to customize these weapons and craft them into modified firearms. In this article, we will walk you through the best fallout 4 heavy weapons build.
1. Fallout 4 Gunslinger Build
This is probably one of the best yet one of the worst perks to have in Fallout 4. Having the Gunslinger build will allow give you the original wasteland experience for many players. You can pair this perk opposite a pistol, rifle, or any other heavy weapon as per your preference. This fallout four-heavy weapon build works best in every situation and is the right choice if you’re a beginner.
The Gunslinger perk comes with abilities worth investing in. Investing in these abilities will allow you to get maximum value to take down a horde of enemies. It serves best as a backup, specifically if you are a rifleman.
Unfortunately, this is worthless against mirelurks and deathclaws. When playing using the Gunslinger build, you can opt between three different playing styles.
Critical Damage: If you opt for the critical damage, you will need to stack all your points into the Luck S.P.E.C.I.A.L stats and then opt for critical damage.
Stealth: If you prefer sneak attacks, you can opt for stealth to slowly sneak behind your enemy and land powerful shots on them before they get a chance to draw their weapon.
VATS-focused: If you are seasoned in Fallout 4, you realize that pistols have low AP costs. This means that you can make more use of VATS than other weapons.
The recommended S.P.E.C.I.A.L stats for the Gunslinger build are
- Strength: 1
- Perception: 1
- Endurance: 4
- Charisma: 1
- Intelligence: 3
- Agility: 9 + 1
- Luck: 9
You should max out Agility and Luck by the end game, and you can boost that 10 Luck all the way to 20 with a set of Lucky gear.
I. The Professional
The Professional is one of the most used fallout four heavy weapon build. If you like to keep things up close and personal, using the professional further adds a 20% additional damage to your sneak attacks. This perk increases the damage by 20% to every critical hit you achieve using your pistol, revolver, or SMGs.
With the Professional, you can clear rooms even on a single AP bar. However, defense remains an issue with this course since there is no strong leader. As there is no strong leader, it may not be feasible to repair your armor constantly, neither will it be possible to modify it. The recommended S.P.E.C.I.A.L stats for the Professional are as follows.
- Strength- 1
- Perceptiaon- 1
- Endurance- 4
- Charisma- 1
- Intelligence- 3
- Agility- 9+1
- Luck- 9
This perk considerably increases the effectiveness of Stealth Kills when carried out with close-range weapons, rifles, or any other weapon of the same caliber. Every critical hit you make will grant you a further critical damage boost. Unfortunately, you cannot check if you have been detected or whether your target has been alerted.
II. The Sharpshooter
This fallout four heavy weapon build is entirely different from the Professional. Unlike the professional, this perk is more focused on concentrated fire in a single spot in the room. In simple words, this perk works best if you’re pairing it opposite to a sniper or for rifles that run on heavy AP.
The recommended S.P.E.C.I.A.L stats for The Sharpshooter are
- Strength: 1
- Perception: 9
- Endurance: 6
- Charisma: 1
- Intelligence: 1
- Agility: 4+1
- Luck: 6
You won’t be able to make the most out of this perk if your pair it alongside a handgun. Since a handgun uses extremely little AP, you’re the best bet to get the most out of it is by using it with a sniper rifle and making all your shots count.
With the Sharpshooter, it’s all about toying with the VATS combat button until you see a target before taking it out. However, note that getting this perk does NOT guarantee that you will kill everything and everyone within range.
If you need to achieve a good rank of Concentrated fire, you will need to rack up that level up to 50 and beyond. Level 50 will require struggling by quite a bit.
III. Kellog Reborn
By Kellog reborn, we refer to Kellog’s pistol, which is probably the best weapon in the game. Given its massive firepower, it will be a shame not to have a build around it. Unfortunately, to get this, you will need to have at least Gun Nut 3 before you can access all the interesting mods.
All the way around, this Fallout 4 heavy weapon build uses Righteous Authority as the backup, and any relentless weapon you find in the game is just gravy.
The recommended S.P.E.C.I.A.L stats for Kellog Reborn are
- Strenght: 3
- Perception: 1
- Endurance: 4+1
- Charisma: 6
- Intelligence: 6
- Agility: 1
- Luck: 7
Although this looks like a crapped-out struggling version of the Deliverer, you can do some interesting modifications that can help you make your way out of the glass mod to go with Kellog’s Reborn is the Robotics Expert, which is primarily the greatest mod to have once you defeat the Mechanist quest-line.
Unfortunately, this fallout 4 heavy weapons build is comparably low on needed perks. This means you will have to rack up more charisma or get a heavy-gunner the crit shape of a missile launcher. While you’re at it, you can also run the Action Buy course for added agility.
2. Iron Fist
The Iron Fist is probably the manliest of fallout 4 heavy weapons build. It comes with a deadly combination of combat perks. With the iron fist, you can punch deathclaws to death with just your iron-clad fists. This is probably the best easy to acquire perk early on in the game. To get the iron fist, head to the Swans Pond. Carry ten mines with you and place them at the edge of the pond.
However, the major downside is the lack of variety in weapons that come with this perk. While the big leagues have at least three types of weapons, the Iron Fist only has one. However, this perk makes it up in the movesets.
For example, if you have the Furious Powerfist, you probably have the best weapon in the game. Also, if you get lucky, you can get your hands on the Deathlclaw.
With the Iron Fist, it is possible to modify your weapons and armor. For example, if you have power armor, you can modify it to punch through things literally. To do this, you will first need to acquire the Blacksmith 3 before you start punching holes through walls. If you want to cause maximum damage to the enemy with your strikes, you can opt for the Pain Train.
I. The Dirty Wastelander
If you are seasoned in the game, you know that the Dirty wastelander is not just a drink in Fallout 4. Apart from the drink, the Dirty wastelander happens to be an iron-fist crit with scruffy hair, a broken nose, and happens to be a wifebeater. He drinks hard liquor like water and injects every drug he finds.
The recommended S.P.E.C.I.A.L stats for the dirty wasteland are
- Strength: 4
- Perception: 1
- Endurance: 5
- Charisma:7
- Intelligence: 1
- Agility: 3+1
- Luck:7
If you need a chemist, you will need to build a crit and a certain amount of endurance if you’re going to melee. In simple words, you will need to have bars everywhere since you will need a lot of drugs and whiskey for your fellow wastelanders.
Every time you drink the dirty wasteland, you gain three strengths, one charisma and -1 intelligence. But if your character is the dirty wastelander, then drinking the dirty wastelander helps you gain three luck and six strength.
If you pick up a few metal pieces along the way, you can also modify your power armor later in the game. Note that playing The Dirty Wastelander will require you to have a lot of money on your person constantly. Therefore, we suggest you pick up maximum stuff along the way and sell them as quickly as possible to afford the drink and build that power armor.
II. The Pain Train
As we mentioned earlier, you can punch through holes if you modify your power armor. However, if you want to deal severe damage to your enemy, you will need to invest in the Pain Train that rewards you with a Sprinting Punch. While there isn’t much to it in the game, it works best when used as a finisher and destroying crits. In simple words, this is a punching build.
The recommended S.P.E.C.I.A.L stats for the Pain Train are
- Strength: 9
- Perception: 1
- Endurance: 9
- Charisma: 1
- Intelligence: 6+1
- Agility: 1
- Luck: 1
While this perk is easy to craft, it does not give you the stat points to get a local leader. This means you will need to assemble your entire support and backup under one spot. Over time, you will receive the vertibird access. Once all this is done, you will need to pick up a bobblehead to get that Strength back up to 10. Similarly, you will need to access the library to get the Intelligence.
Once you get your hands on the T-60 or the X-01, you become a walking, fully armored tank that can punch things to the death, or you can opt to create a murder-bot with a laser Gatling-arm.
III. The Quarterback
Majority of the Fallout 4 players who play or have played the Blitz even once reported getting bored after or before Level 15. But if you love dishing out some powerful strikes instead of just teleporting back and forth, then the Quarterback is probably one of the best fallout four heavy weapons build to have.
If you are in the big leagues, you will undoubtedly go with the Iron Fist. But if you want to mix things up, you can always opt for The Quarterback. It’s very easy to find the right mods for every fist weapon in Fallout 4.
The recommended S.P.E.C.I.A.L stats for The Quarterback are
- Strength: 9
- Perception: 1
- Endurance: 5+1
- Charisma: 1
- Intelligence: 1
- Agility: 9
- Luck: 1
If you want to maul everything present in the settlement, you can opt for perks such as the Armorer, blacksmith, or the strong back. Unfortunately, the Quarterback does not know science, nor is he a robotics expert, which means crafting is out of the question. However, with the Quarterback, you get massive strength damage of 9. In addition, when rooted, it gives you an additional 50% melee damage if you’re standing still.
If your character is at or above Level 5, you can pull off a few rooted sneak blitz attacks. But, let me tell you this, once you pull off a sneak blitz attack, you will never get tired of it and will go around pulling off dashing strikes and moving around mid-combat.
Another good option is the Melee-VATS. However, this will have you standing in the corner waiting for your AP to regain before heading into combat.
3. Fallout 4 Heavy Gunner Build
If you have spent a fair share of time plowing through the wasteland in Fallout 4, you know that there aren’t a lot of heavy weapons in the game. The few heavy weapons present weight a ton and are extremely hard to get. Even if you get the weapon, you’ll have to spend hours in search of ammo once you run out.
The Heavy Gunner perk requires the highest stat. One of the key benefits of the Heavy Gunner is that once you pick it up, you need only one point to get a strong back.
If you have come across a heavy weapon in Fallout 4, you know that they are downright incredible. For example, playing as a demolition expert and using the missile launcher will cause you to inflict maximum damage that can level buildings in a single strike. Then there are the mini-nukes and the Cryolator, which is probably the best mid-range weapon in Fallout 4.
And then there’s the Laser Gatling, the best all-around weapon in Fallout 4, which can be obtained later in the game. You can get Ammo at a meager price if you buy it at the Brotherhood Of Steel. While it all sounds awesome, this fallout four-heavy weapon build has a particular drawback. Therefore, you need to ensure that you have a complete grasp of the game before getting this perk.
I. The Big Banger
This heavy weapons perk uses the Missile launcher, the Broadsider, and the Cryolator as neither of these weapons require a Gun, Not a mod. While the Missile Launcher can use the Gun Nut as a potential mod, it has no impact on the overall damage whatsoever. Crafting can be a big hassle when using the Big Banger on survival since the Fast Travel option is unavailable.
This build is an absolute blast as you can take out hordes of enemies in a single strike, trick minelurks into a mine trap, and slaughter Raiders using the Cryolater. The recommended S.P.E.C.I.A.L stats of The Big Banger are
- Strenght: 6
- Perception: 4
- Endurance: 6+1
- Charisma: 1
- Intelligence: 1
- Agility: 5
- Luck: 5
If you need to pick up heavy weapons more efficiently, you can opt for the Locksmith or Aquagirl. Note that you need to have mastered the Master Lockpicking skill to get the Cryolator. Meanwhile, the Aquagirl will take you to the castle, where you can get the missile launcher and the flamethrower. The flamethrower works best when used indoors. It comes in as a handy weapon if you are trying to take out raiders inside the castle.
If you opt for The Broadsider, head to Arturo in the Diamond City, who will sell you cannonballs. You can also get the ammo for The Cryolator here.
Meanwhile, if you swap your Luck for 5 Intelligence points, you can get your hands on different gun mods such as the Armorer, Gun Nut, and Science. These mods make it easier for you to mod weapons such as the harpoon gun, fat man, and the Laser Gatling.
II. The Laser Surgeon
As the name suggests, the Laser Surgeon is a Laser Gatling. To get the laser surgeon started, you will need to have reach level 28 (3 science) before you can start modding it to make the most out of it. Also, you need to rack up the recommended strength, intelligence, and luck bobbleheads before you can access perks such as the
- Armorer
- Heavy Gunner
- Strong Back
- Local Leader
- Gun Nut
- Hacker
- Scrapper
- Science
- Chemist
- Robotics Expert
- Nuclear Physicist
- Scrounger
- Better Criticals, and
- Critical Banker
The recommended S.P.E.C.I.A.L stats for The Laser Surgeon are as follows.
- Strength: 5
- Perception: 1
- Endurance: 3+1
- Charisma: 6
- Intelligence: 6
- Agility: 1
- Luck: 6
As we mentioned earlier, you need to rack the recommended S.P.E.C.I.A.L stats before gaining access to the different perks mentioned above. If you opt for the chemist, you get an Overdrive chemical that gives you a 25% chance to crit with any attack.
However, the Laser Gatling is the only heavy weapon with a boost to critical damage. Getting the laser Gatling alone is enough if you’re playing the VATS combat, which means you don’t have any need for the Critical Banker whatsoever.
This fallout four heavy weapon build will give you the maximum damage when maxed out, followed by a cheap ammo source. A rank 4 Chemist Overdrive will have a 24-minute duration, meaning you can use it non-stop.
Although you must pick and use every critical boost you find before you reach the Final Judgement. You need to have at least a point or two in Gunslinger or Rifleman’s category. But if you’re planning on using the Righteous Authority perk, we recommend using Aquagirl or getting a Hazmat suit to swim to the Luck Bobblehead.
III. Meat Grinder Joe
The Meat Grinder Joe is a basher in Fallout 4 and probably one of the favorites in the game. This fallout four heavy weapon build lets you beat your enemies to death with the handle of your rifle or by attaching a bayonet to the front. Of course, this perk works best if you pair it alongside a double-barrel shotgun, as you can take down your enemy with just a simple bash.
Another great way of using the Meat Grinder Joe is by obtaining the minigun and using the Shredder mod to get the best melee weapons of the game. Once you have the mod on, put on power armor, press, and hold down the fire button to achieve several hits per second. When you get those hits out, the basher perk allows you to crit and cripple opponents at a high level.
While the Shredder gun mod doesn’t bode well with the heavy gunner, it does give you a chance to stun your enemies and stagger things.
The recommended S.P.E.C.I.A.L stats are
- Strength: 8
- Perception: 1
- Endurance: 8
- Charisma: 1
- Intelligence: 3
- Agility: 1
- Luck: 6
Racking up the recommended stats will give you access to different perks such as:
- Armorer
- Heavy Gunner
- Strong Back
- Basher
- Shredder
- Gun Nut
- Better Criticals
4. Big Leagues
If you like to brutal dismember or bludgeon your enemies to death, then the Big Leagues perk is the one to go for. Unfortunately, this can be difficult to use against surrounded enemies spread widely across. However, if you have found yourself in a closed room surrounded by enemies on all sides, then the Big leagues can grant you additional close combat damage.
If you recall, there are numerous melee weapons available in Fallout 4. These weapons are categorized into groups of three. There is the weight class, and then there are one-handed and two-handed knives to choose from.
You will need to pick a weapon you can wield without affecting your movement whatsoever for this to work. If you prefer a one-handed blade, you can opt for the Kremvh’s Tooth, perfect for combat.
But if you prefer to bludgeon and bash your enemies into the ground, you’ll be better off with the sledge variant called Atom’s Judgement.
The funny thing is that despite this being a sledgehammer, it is practically one of the stealthiest weapons in the game. However, one major drawback of the super sledge is that the sledge can get stuck mid-air at times while the Mirelurk charge at you.
I. Guardian Of The Commonwealth
Known primarily for making monsters out of men, the Commonwealth is a small town in Massachusetts, New England. It encompasses the former state capital of Boston, which serves as the game world in Fallout 4.
But when we speak about the heavy weapon build fallout 4, it is incomplete without referring to the tank melee-build. As the name suggests, you play as the lone guardian of the commonwealth with a power armor on you at all times.
Wearing the power armor increases your strength by 10. Therefore, ensure that you don’t wear more than four since you will have your armor on you at all times.
The sole purpose behind having power armor is survival. Though you will be taking a significant amount of damage, your 4-layer power armor pretty much guarantees your survival. Since you will be armed to your teeth, your movements will be comparatively slower, but you will be able to inflict immense damage.
The recommended S.P.E.C.I.A.L stats are
- Strength: 4
- Perception: 1
- Endurance: 6+1
- Charisma: 6
- Intelligence: 9
- Agility:1
- Luck: 1
If you rack up the recommended stats, you can access multiple perks such as
- Big Leagues
- Armorer
- Blacksmith
- Cap Collector
- Local Leader
- Hacker
- Scrapper
- Science
- Chemist
- Robotics Expert
- Nuclear Physicist.
One of the key perks of playing as the Guardian is that you can grab every last ounce of junk and convert it into a settlement with just a power armor around you. If you are planning to play as the Guardian, the baseball bat is probably the best weapon to have early on.
You can modify it using blacksmith as well as science. There are plenty of crafting options available here. For example, you can choose to remove one point from strength and assign it to agility for command and other long-distance engagements.
II. Jack The Ripper
Unlike its name, Jack The Ripper is a VATS non-blitz stealth melee build in Fallout 4. If you are seasoned in Fallout 4, you know that you need to have at least six stealth manuals for easy sneaking.
Jack is a unique variant of The Ripper, which was initially present in Fallout 4. While the single hit rate is the same, it has a potentially high damage rate because of a boost to the critical hit
The recommended S.P.E.C.I.A.L stats are
- Strength: 2
- Perception : 1
- Endurance: 4+1
- Charisma: 3
- Intelligence: 1
- Agility: 7
- Luck: 9
If you rack up these recommended stats, then you can obtain perks such as
- Big Leagues
- Toughness
- Lifegiver
- Aquaboy
- Lone Wanderer
- Sneak
- Mister Sandman
- Action Boy
- Moving Target
- Ninja Bloody Mess
- Idiot Savant
- Better Criticals
Knives need relatively low AP in Fallout 4. So you can have the Pickman’s blade and rack up melee kills. Mostly, players try to sneak past powerful enemies and take them out with the ninja. But his is subjected to whether you get noticed while sneaking. You can use Jack The Rapper fallout, four heavy weapons built to perform a VATS combo and take down the enemies if you are detected.
5. Rifleman
This is the best weapons perk in Fallout 4. As you already know, rifles in any game tend to have high firepower, decent range, and can penetrate armor when shot with extreme precision. Unfortunately, some of the best rifles in Fallout 4 are extremely tough to get. Even if you manage to get your hands on it, obtaining the ammo and carrying the weapon is another problem.
When traveling through the Wasteland in Fallout 4, you need to have at least one rifle with you along with a shotgun to take down the horde of Ghouls on your way. Here, the combat rifle is your best bet since it has plenty of ammo and does heavy damage. One of the critical advantages of this perk is that you don’t need any stat points to access it.
I. Black Ops
The sole survivor of the Wasteland happens to be a former black-ops soldier who is making every possible effort to return to civilian life. As she slowly adapts to civilian life, the Wasteland has managed to keep her skills intact. The Black Ops fallout four heavy weapons build primarily focuses on long-distance rifles and mines to help tactically eliminate hostiles from a distance.
It comprises everything armor, builds, centered gun. The armorer, local leader, science, ninja, and the action girl. The recommended S.P.E.C.I.A.L stats are
- Strength: 3
- Perception: 4
- Endurance: 3+1
- Charisma: 6
- Intelligence: 5
- Agility: 6
- Luck: 1
Racking up the recommended stats will give you access to perks such as
- Armorer
- Locksmith
- Demolition Expert
- Cap Collector
- Local Leader
- Gun Nut
- Hacker
- Scrapper
- Science
- Sneak
- Action Girl
- Ninja
II. The Marksman
The Marksman build is completely different from the Black Ops build since it uses recon scopes to lower AP costs instead of increasing them. If you want to max out your AP usage, you can opt for short stocks and short barrels. If you have no problem experimenting, you’ll find that this VATS-build will be the best set-up for your overall gameplay.
The recommended S.P.E.C.I.A.L stats are
- Strength: 3
- Perception: 7+1
- Endurance: 1
- Charisma: 1
- Intelligence: 3
- Agility: 7
- Luck: 6
If you rack up the recommended stats, you can access the following perks.
- Armorer
- Rifleman
- Awareness
- Demolition Expert
- Night Person
- Sniper
- Penetrator
- Toughness
- Lone Wanderer
- V.A.NS
- Gun Nut
- Sneak
If you get access to these perks, it is pretty much guaranteed that you will have an insane hit rate on people. You can bash through walls and fusion cores with the power armor. Meanwhile, auto-critted headshots will have you hitting headshots through the wall uses
III. The Paladin
The Paladin is one of the heavy weapons build in Fallout 4 if you want to enjoy the Brotherhood of Steel playthrough. This fully tanked armor build allows you to inflict an insane amount of damage on your opponents.
Irrespective of the amount of damage you take, you’ll be able to return the debt with interest with your Laser Gatling. The Paladin is a soldier fighting for the survival of the Brotherhood and is good with following commands.
The recommended S.P.E.C.I.A.L stats are
- Strength: 5
- Perception: 1
- Endurance: 10
- Charisma: 1
- Intelligence: 9
- Agility: 1
- Luck: 1
Racking up the recommended stats will give you access to perks such as
- Armorer
- Rifleman
- Cap Collector
- Black Widow
- Animal Friend
- Local Leader
- Inspirational
- Wasteland Whisperer
- Intimidation
- Gun Nut
- Hacker
- Scrapper
The power-armored tank build will let you tear through enemy camps all by yourself. The overall playstyle is primarily centered around semi-automatic rifles with short scopes. If you want to make things intense, you can opt for the combat rifle, assault rifle, and eventually the handmade rifle. The build is a complete powerhouse that allows you to kill your enemies with ease.
6. FO4 Commando Build
The heavy commando weapons build in fo4 are primarily designed for survival mode. This is because the commando build allocates all your points to perception to focus on concentrated fire. Because of this, you achieve maximum damage on your enemies and take down prefixed weapons in fewer shots. In addition, this build is perfect for crowd control since it can take down hordes of enemies with automatic weapons. You will enjoy this build enough to spawn enemies.
It doesn’t need VATS which means your overall gameplay resembles the one of a shooter. It gives you some of the best weapons in the game.
The only major drawback is that you’ll have to keep scouting for ammo constantly. But you can tackle this by building stores with the help of the Local Leader. Also, most guns and rifles can be modded with an automatic receiver which means you’ll have the highest chance of all perks to get a useful Legendary.
I. The Commando
These all-in-one perks comprise of everything you need in the long haul, such as endurance, crafting, and also pick up other bonuses such as Bloody Mess, Sneak, and Chemist on the way. All you need to do is find a few bobbleheads, and you’re all set.
The recommended S.P.E.C.I.A.L stats are
- Strength: 3
- Perception: 1
- Endurance: 9
- Charisma: 6
- Intelligence: 6
- Agility: 2
- Luck: 1+1
Racking up the recommended stat points will give you access to perks such as
- Armorer
- Locksmith
- Local Leader
- Gn Nut
- Scrapper
- Science
- Comando
- Scrounger
In simple terms, the Commando is one heavy weapon build in fo4 that has everything required to ensure your survival. It makes good use of all the bobbleheads, which makes it perfect for later in-game usage. Given the Armorer and Science, you can easily craft a power armor whenever you want to.
The Commando barely uses VATS which isn’t that great for sneaking. However, it makes you feel like an absolute sharpshooter in Fallout 4, making constant, constant use of cover and health amenities. When playing as The Commando, you can still do with an only weapon on your person, which you can mod anywhere.
II. The Feral Scientist
As we mentioned earlier, you play as a sole survivor who plows through the wasteland and making do with everything you find. However, you come across many scientists who have zeroed in on a perfect location for settlement. Although, you will first have to clear the territory of enemies. Since you have been tasked with the same, the scientists have named you as The Feral Scientist.
This is one of the most decent perks in Fallout 4 since it makes good use of the charisma and intelligence points present. The recommended S.P.E.C.I.A.L stats are
- Strength: 1
- Perception: 1
- Endurance: 8+1
- Charisma: 6
- Intelligence: 9
- Agility: 2
- Luck: 1
Racking up the recommended stats will give you access to perks such as
- Toughness
- Lifegiver
- Ghoulish
- Local Leader
- Gun Nut
- Hacker
- Scrapper
- Science
- Chemist
- Nuclear Physicist
- Nerd
- Commando
A significant advantage of the Feral Scientist is that you get to play with a powerful rifle with an extended ammo clip. However, it will cost you your overall endurance. Any damage you take will automatically trigger the Nerd Rage.
III. The Trench Foot
If you have already got what it means in the game, the trench foot is primarily affiliated with the soldiers who fought in World War 1 and lived in trenches and dump a bunker. Your feet are entirely rotten hence the name. However, this heavy weapon perk in Fallout 4 makes you an infantry soldier wielding the Gatling gun with an extra-large bayonet attached to it.
The recommended S.P.E.C.I.A.L stats are
- Strength: 8
- Perception: 4
- Endurance: 4+1
- Charisma: 6
- Intelligence: 3
- Agility: 2
- Luck: 1
Racking up these recommended stats will give you access to perks such as
- Big lEagues
- Armorer
- Blacksmith
- Heavy Gunner
- Strong Back
- Steady Aim
- Basher
- Demolition Expert
- Aquaboy
- Local Leader
- Medic
- Gun Nut
But the trench foot perk makes your character able to traverse and adapt to adverse conditions. But this build is not that great for long-range. You make your way through contaminated water battling heavy gunfire from all sides on blighted wasteland. Despite all the hardship, you still manage to upkeep your guns with the help of the locals.
Although you are wielding the Gatling in one hand, you can still approach your enemies with the utmost strength, take them out with your bayonet, and take out the rest with your machine gun.
