Destiny 2 Exotic Weapon And Armours List | How To Get Exotics?
Those seasoned in Destiny 2 know the power of exotic weapons and armors such as the Monte Carlo Auto Rifle which is one of the weapons that has been added to the Shadowkeep. Every exotic weapon you get your hands on will give you a significant edge over your enemy. These exotic weapons deal with double damage, and the armor gives you the ability to stay alive even after catching that one extra bullet.
If you ask a pro Destiny 2 guardian, you’ll find that farming for exotics is the coolest part of the game. However, it isn’t easy farming for these exotic weapons and armors, as you’ll need to grind it hard during PvP and PvE missions before you can acquire them. Although, there are also a few easy ways using which you can quickly get these exotics
In simple words, exotics are either optional weapons and armor pieces. Each exotic comes with its own sets of perks and abilities, which he/she cannot find anywhere else in the game. With every new expansion and season reveal, there are more exotics to unlock and quests to pursue. Although, there is a chance you can secure exotics through random airdrops at times.
This article will highlight all the exotic weapons and armor in Destiny 2. In addition, we have included a detailed guide on how you unlock exotics, both from the released and from the latest updates. We have also added a few ways using which you can farm these exotics in Destiny 2
How Do Exotics Work?
As we mentioned above, exotics are weapons and armor pieces, and each exotic comes with its own set of stats, perks, and abilities. Exotics are mighty items that can give you an edge over your opponent. Unfortunately, you can only equip ONE exotic at a time, either in your weapon or your armor slot. In simple words, only ONE GOLDEN ITEM can be equipped per side of your inventory screen.

How To Get Exotics In Destiny 2?
There are four easy ways to use which you can get your hands on exotic weapons in Destiny. While you can directly buy some of these weapons, some will require you to complete missions before you can farm these. Here are the four easiest ways using which you can get exotics in Destiny 2.
1. Buy From XUR
Xur is the mysterious weapons dealer that appears in different locations every week in Destiny 2. He appears randomly and usually possesses a stock load of exotic weapons and armor. To acquire these exotic weapons from Xur, you will have to trade some of your resources in exchange for exotic and legendary weapons such as Trinity Ghoul. If not exotics, you can exchange your resources for an engram if you want. This the easiest way to farm exotic weapons without requiring to grind for them,
2. Complete Exotic Quests
This is one of the straightforward ways to farm exotic weapons and armor. You can find these quests at multiple locations and complete them using any way you deem easy.
For example: When you complete the Beyond Light Expansion, you will acquire the Lost Lament exotic quest from the Banshee in the tower. Completing this quest will give you a sword.
Just like this, there are plenty of other quests to discover that will farm your exotics.
3. Exotic Ciphers
Post the Beyond Light Expansion, Destiny 2 bid farewell to some of the old content, including gear and armors from the last expansions. However, you can still acquire these missed exotics using exotic ciphers. These exotic ciphers are currencies that allow you to get your hands on the retired exotic items from the previous expansions.
If you possess an exotic cipher, make your way to the Tower and exchange your cipher for an exotic. Know that you will also need additional resources to get that exotic. If you are short on exotic ciphers, you can get more by completing Xur’s weekly quests. Although, leveling up in the season pass will get you a free cipher.
Complete The Campaigns
Be it Destiny 2 or any other, completing the main campaign will always help you acquire weapons and loot. Similarly, completing the Destiny 2 main campaign will help you farm exotics. If you have the Foresaken, Shadowkeep, and Beyond the Light expansion, you will get an exotic quest every time you complete a campaign
Completing Foresaken will get you Cayde’s Ace Of Spade’s gun as an exotic guest. Whereas Beyond The Light will reward you with several exotic weapons quests as well. Some of the quests are relatively easy. However, some will have you facing waves of enemies and will require grinding both PvP and PvE enemies.
